The whole surface is pressure cleaned with best quality 3500psi to ensure all dirt, moss and lichen is removed.

Pressing 3500psi onto all existing tiles ensures all tiles withstanding the extreme pressure will last a further 10 years of weathering. Those that do have hair-line fractures and break under the pressure will be removed and replaced.

All mess, dirt and grime is collected and cleaned from gutters. Downpipes are all then flushed out to ensure no blockages and your water runoff is working correctly.

Broken ridge capping rectified in flexible pointing.

Top Class Renovations uses Flexi-Point to bind ridge capping to bedding and tiles. These are the main strong points on your roof. Flexi-point is made from water-based polymers and fillers and is intended to 'feel' like normal cement mortar. It differs from traditional and inherently brittle cement mortar pointing in that it retains a significant post cure flexibility. This enables it to flex in harmony with roof movements without cracking or breaking away. Flexible pointing ensures ridge security.

All flues, vents, valleys and air-conditioners are hand-painted to ensure consistent roof colour over entire roof.

All skylights masked off to ensure no over-spray.

1 x coat of moss and lichen inhibitor applied to prevent any moss or lichen from reappearing on the roof surface.

1 x coat of AcraTex sealer is applied which seals moss and lichen inhibitor in and water out.

2 x coats of Dulux AcraTex 962 Roof Membrane applied.

Dulux AcraTex 962 Roof Membrane is an 100% acrylic, water-based, elastomeric high build coating designed for application to concrete roof tiles and metal roofs. It provides ultimate protection, durability, colour retention and weather proofing to restore old roofs into clean, pristine and safer roofs. It has been formulated with specific performance requirements to meet the functional characteristics of the roof restoration industry, including UV resistance, waterproofing, acid rain resistance, crack bridging, and resistance to environmental pollution.
